hello holly i was wondering if you were considering possibly playing the outer wilds dlc that came out some while ago? i've only been able to chip at the beginning of it but it's been fun so far! outer wilds is probably one of the games of all time to make me lay on the ground and think
The most true answer to this is “I don’t really think about things like this”. I could say something completely dishonest, but anything I think of either makes me sound like a stuffy monastic old woman or a white goth in high school circa 2009.

Getting really into the word “transposed” lately.

There was a Nintendo-hosted indie games showcase today. Let’s go look at it together. (No VOD for this one.)

Consider the Mario Parties/Sports games: if they include Enemies as playable characters, would you like it more if they were individualized guys a la Paper Mario (like say if each franchise either got Koops from TTYD, for example, or instead invented a brand new Goomba from scratch for each game) or just kept like it is now where you get platonic, unfettered ideals of Boo or Monty Mole?
I feel like the whole point of the crossover(? can you call it a crossover if it’s just one franchise?) sports game is to go “Here’s all the guys you know from the series, now go and play with them like they’re dolls you’re slapping around”. The point of the RPGs is to tell stories, so making up dudes in that context makes sense. Unless it’s a story-driven sports campaign, it’d maybe feel a little silly to go “this is the Baseballoombas and this is Kevin Mole and these are the Sportsians”.
On the one hand, I guess that’s what Waluigi is. On the other hand I guess that’s why Waluigi feels a little bit like a nobody. He’s an action figure for you to project on while you imagine sports games. Also I changed my mind, I want Baseballoombas to be real.
It’s a beautiful day by the river and I need to build a bridge.
LIVE ~6pm Eastern!
LIVE NOW!! Let’s see how the server’s doing. I think I’m stuck in a hole.
