I’ve thought about it. I think lever guns and revolvers are very pretty. Unfortunately I don’t have very good hand-eye coordination and being near live firearms scares every ounce of shit out of me.
One of these days I’m gonna go “fuck it” and write a thing about my thoughts on “Destiny 2” as a whole. Sometimes I feel like its best moments are in spite of itself & I think I need to write this out to understand my own thoughts. Too late at night to do that right now & tomorrow I’m too busy. Some day, if I remember.

If they want to have him be a crotchety old man, fine. I like those. I imagine they don’t want to go the Snarky Rude Scholar type because that’s just Asher Mir (RIP(?) Ashermere me and Mithrax miss you a lot). Felt like they leaned into “shitty gym teacher or principal” in this expansion though. They had him be obsessed with solving problems to the point of losing sight of things around him because he was worried about his own perceived uselessness, and I think that’s fine in a vacuum, but it felt like they made him dumber than a bag of hammers to accomplish that. I think at least some of this stems from them trying to tell this story in as few quests as they did, instead of giving the plot space to breathe, but at that point that’s an issue I’ve got with the game as a whole / with live-service-model storytelling.
& We can make him better if we get more on-screen scenes of him with his husband or with Ikora. Or both. I wanna see more Saint and Ikora in general LOL
