I pronounce it like “Zed Zed Top” and “Dragon Ball Zed” when I feel like fucking with people. BTW, kindly forget you read this post so I can continue fucking with you.

is there a game you’ve played that keeps coming back to your mind in terms of how it affected you emotionally?
“Outer Wilds” and “Hypnospace Outlaw”. There are definitely others because I’m a big emotional sap, but those are the big ones at the forefront of my memory.

Are there any jokes or bits from the rest of the rtvs crew that made you laugh so hard you still remember them?
I spend basically every other day thinking about Baaulp saying “I was at penis”.

How are you today?
Had a long but very fun day. Got to hang out at a museum & then in downtown LA with my partner & one of our friends. Ate okonomiyaki for the first time. Now Puzz and I are hanging out and playing with her cat & having a very compelling talk about art and game design and chewing on that kinda stuff. Life is real good sometimes. I’m very thankful.
Learned about animals today. Fact #1) Most animals are dead.

Are you celebrating the Ides of March?
Not really. Every day’s a celebration if you make it one, though.

You say you don't like most Rockstar games, but have you tried the meditative preparation of a long-simmered bone broth?
the day a video game corporation tries to trademark the concept of soup is the day I intervene

hi holly! i was wondering if you had any thoughts on rpgmaker horror games? stuff like mad father or ib :o]
Haven’t played a single one, as far as I know, other than “Yume Nikki”, and even then I don’t know if I’d describe that as horror. I don’t really play/watch/read a lot of horror, mind you, and I don’t pay too much attention to what engine or framework a game is made in (I mean I do if I’m in an “I like learning about how things are made” mood but, like, I don’t go out of my way to specifically track down and play Unreal Engine games, for instance).

Favorite period of jazz history? I’m all about that 70s fusion shit
Late-60s-thru-70s is a really exciting and interesting period. I’m also real partial to the 90s and the extremely modern day times.
I was catching up on Frankenbug VOD’s, and this NPC looked into my soul. When I awoke, there was this. (moment of quiz NPC + Puzz summoning from the VOD ) (was going to have her stumble off screen right, then realized it would be much funnier to just reverse the frames)
PS:I didn’t want to deal with keeping a top hat consistent so I just cut/pasted it from Puzz’s professor Layton talksprite shhhhhhh (go see it here)
PSS:(Puzz faceplanting is in reference to this image(warning for flashing colors)+ Puzz ‘stumbling in’ to the stream chat. I sent the ask and then realized I was gonna add Columbo’s coat, which covers so much of the outfit, so I just used the Layton sprite as reference before the response went up, might have gotten her hair colors swapped, whoops!)
