holly have you ever tried apple sauce and peanut butter on toast it's really good. also you should try to make homemade applesauce it's really easy and you get an apple juice treat when the apples are done boiling. recommend!
I think I’d rather just eat an apple with peanut butter. I don’t like the taste or texture of a lot of applesauces, but I’ve never tried making it myself before.

As good as the bagel I posted was I’m so sad I wasn’t able to get any salmon for it. I’ve had some damn fine salmon over on the west coast of the continent before, & lemme tell ya… you folks living out there are living the dream. Just ain’t the same over in my neck of the woods.

I hope if people take any kind of lesson from my pasta stream, it’s that “cooking is flexible. & can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.” It’s fun! Give it a try.

not to put them on blast necessarily, but @/irradiatedsnakes has a really good vegan lox bagel recipe using tomatoes in place of lox that seems like it could be up your alley!

I think we have radically different understandings of what “putting someone on blast” means. Anyways, Tumblr’s search function isn’t very good, so I can’t find what you’re talking about.
Whats your favorite thing to spread on toast/bagels/english muffins?
For toast I like butter & honey, or some peanut butter. For bagels I like cream cheese. For english muffins I either want jam or I want to make an egg sandwich using it.
