hello... would you ever pickle an onion? thanks

Pickling Onions Is Fucking Awesome. Do It.

Who would win; a scrumptious bowl of soup or a delicious slice of cake?

The eater wins, I think.

More.

so you don't enjoy rockstar games but what about the games by this completely unrelated company called "dma design" like space station silicon valley on nintendo 64

I always forget that they (technically) did that one. I know nothing about that game other than “it’s fucking weird, apparently”.

What gamecube games do you recommend? I just downloaded dolphin and ive been playing through pokemon colosseum and ive been having lots of fun, but im nearing the end, I fear....

“Cubivore” is weird and cool. “The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker” is a classic adventure that I love dearly. “Kirby Air Ride” is a lot of fun if you can wrangle friends into playing with you, but I still think it’s very fun solo. “Super Smash Bros. Melee” is also in that camp for me (lotsa fun single player offerings in it)! “Chibi-Robo” isn’t for everyone, but if it clicks for you it’s a really good time. The “Pikmin” games are a good time & I’d recommend them both, but I played more of the second one.

Lately my moms been getting and encouraging me to try out cooking. It was a basic life skill I was bound to develop eventually so I gave it a try. Having undiagnosed mental disorders on top of the language barrier between me and her, my entry into cooking (which I jokingly call my "malewife training arc") was turbulent and confusing.

It took me maybe over a week to be comfortable and confident with using kitchen equipment, handling knives and preparing food. So far the most I got out of my moms lesson is to heat up a pan at high with a bit of cooking oil, toss in the ingredients and stir it around, add sauce with more stirring, and finally putting a lid on the pan for a few minutes until I decide it's done. The end result is what I would personally call "edible" (one time I felt like I overcooked several steaks which I named "godless mistake")

So I'm telling you this because I have a feeling you know more about cooking and I am desperately asking for help with how I can brave on cooking because I sure as hell am not doing right by it.

The trick to “being brave about cooking” for me is a mix of “failure hurts but you have to learn how to be okay with it” and “fake it ‘til you make it”.

oh! i have the pink splatoon pillow too!!! it’s really soft and nice, it’s sad they don’t produce em anymore

It’s a good pillow! I hadn’t realized it was so rare or limited! I kinda wish they still sold it, because I want one for myself but I don’t want to swap my wife’s (and also I want one in a different colour / I want an octopus LOL). I feel like it’d sell well enough to justify production!! But that’s just me guessing.

Do you play Pokémon at all? I just finished the main questline of Violet, and it has me fucked up haha! These games have some truly dark themes, and this one really took the cake!!

Haven’t been interested in the series in years, no. I’ll catch some competitive matches every now and then but that’s about it.

I dearly love your picross vods and they are very calming to chill to, but in fall times i had covid real bad, and one night was basically just drifting in and out of consciousness and in Pain. I had on Wayne's chulip stream and after like an hour I had to switch over to picross because it turns out the Chulip sound effects become VERY BAD nightmare noises when you're waking up and falling asleep over and over again. I put on a picross vod instead, and for that entire night I kept dreaming that I was playing picross. I had never played picross in my waking life. Thank you for the streams <3
