i just wanted you to know, your ds2 streams are my firs5lt "with my own eyes" exposure to dark souls, and before that all i knew about it was weirdos (bad kind) on the internet obsessed with it being hard. today i bought bloodborne, my first fromsoft game, because i saw it and remembered how much fun i had watching and how much fun you seemed to have playing it. i havent played it yet but i wanted to let you know because like... i think thats good. like those streams offset YEARS of negativity i thought youd like to know. hope ur having fun on your vacation :)

I spent years avoiding the games after they came to PC, even though I had friends who enjoyed it, because there were a lot of loud and often kinda lousy people who gave it a certain reputation. Eventually I went “hey, what the hell” and looked at it myself and found a lot of reasons to love it.

I get the apprehension people can have like this sometimes, but for the most part I think it’s best to not worry too much about it. Better to go into something with fresh eyes open and thoughts unburdened, so you can make your own judgements and conclusions. At least I think so.

are you still on vacation?

You will know my vacation is done when I do a stream.

I've got a gnome stream-related question since I was rewatching the Behind the Scenes stream - there's a moment where Wayne was about to explain why the blue gnome says "Hello officer," but he gets interrupted before he does. Can you explain why the gnome says that?

I think we just thought it was funny to make a pervert call you honourific(?) titles like sir and officer. If there’s more to it than that I either don’t know or don’t remember.

Hi Holly. Thanks for the eggplant meal recipe, it was very tasty. I had it both last night for dinner and today for lunch. I ended up making hummus instead of the lentils because my gf doesnt like beans texture and because the tahini sauce recipe is used in that websites hummus recipe anyways.

fuuccxkkkkk yesssssssss EGGPLANT BABY!!!!!!! That recipe’s good as fuck. I can see it going real well with hummus and some bread. Let’s all continue to enjoy eggplant.

hi holly! i dont know if youre familiar with the series, but if you arent, i feel like youd really enjoy milly thompson from the original trigun anime! you seem to like big strong 'gals with big ol weapons, shes very silly too.

I literally love her so much. I never really watched “Trigun” vey regularly or anything, but it’s weird to think how very Me the character ended up being. (maybe the other way around? how Milly I ended up being?) She’s the reason I want to rematch the series some time soon. I refuse to watch the new one because she’s apparently not in it LOL

Hey Holly, do you know if Puzz has a Youtube channel for her VODs? She's do delightful on your streams and I'd love to watch some of her solo stuff, but actually watching streams is difficult for me.

It’s linked on her blog and on her twitch page. With all due respect, please ask her things like this instead.

thank you for spreading the knowledge of galidor, I felt crazy for so long because it seemed like I was the only person who had ever heard of it.

I was growing up when it was new on TV and it stuck with me for all these years because of how weird I remember it feeling. I feel like it’s at least a little more well-known in Canada, though aside from the whole “bankrolled by LEGO” thing I imagine it’s probably on a similar level as other Canadian mixed-CG-live-action shows for teen and child of the early 2000s. I could not name a single other one of those shows for you from memory! But I goddamn know I seen ‘em!
