Food photography that looks good is very hard & tends to require a lot of setup or equipment that I don’t often have, so I have more fun with food photography that looks bad on purpose.

Yes! That’s where we got okonomiyaki. We had a nice walk around and did some window shopping. I saw a really nice physical volume of “Yokohama Shopping Log” at a book store there and had to talk myself out of buying it because it’d be a pain to carry back home in my backpack… I’m still thinking about it, though. I wish you could teleport things because I’d have teleported like four or five books there back home.

There was a museum at Little Tokyo that we wanted to hit up, but it was getting late in the day and we were getting tired. There was also a couple restaurants that looked good, so picking a place to eat was hard!! Just means I have things to look forward to next time I’m in the area, whenever that might be. That’s always fun.

It was really good. Much more complex taste than I was expecting. I would have been very happy with just “savoury pancake with cooked cabbage and a nice sauce” but it was such an interesting flavour and texture experience. I’m so glad that people all over the world are doing real good stuff with cabbage.

I haven’t been able to play the game in months because it’s starting to run a little rough on my PC (mostly because I refuse to lower the graphics settings LOL), so I haven’t seen what the red text posts have been for a hot minute. I know they made some goof about Citrine rock pussy, which got a chuckle out of me in a rolling-my-eyes “man come on” kind of way.

They put out Hildryn Prime the other day, and that on top of Other Reasons (mostly job related, admittedly, but at least a little bit “I want to play big lady”) means I’m going to be seriously considering buying a new PC soon, haha.

Hey thanks. I get a real kick out of doing it, so I like making time for it when I can. Sometimes I worry the way I type comes off as rude or something, because tone can be weird through text sometimes, but I’m glad people mostly seem to get that I just talk & type kinda blunt & matter-of-factly. It’s all in good fun for me :+)

“Actual horse game” could feasibly be anything, so I’d play one if it interested me, I suppose.

I’ve played the tiniest amount of the second one, ages and ages ago. I’ve got a soft spot for a bunch of CRPGs of this era, but in the back of my head I always wonder, “do these games hold up at all? would I enjoy engaging with them today?” The only way I can really answer that is by trying, & I’d certainly like to.

For stuff like “Neverwinter Nights” I suppose it mostly hinges on me liking whatever edition of D&D it’s running on, and me liking the NPCs in it. I DO like looking at a lot of these older systems, but I’ve played and seen enough 90’s and early 2000’s western CRPGs to know they have a certain smell to their writing LOL

I give a try some day. Worst comes to worst I have a weird time and I go play “Pillars of Eternity” or something instead, y’know?
