i cannot even begin to think of something that would be considered close to “an unpopular opinion about plants”. i am sorry. i have failed you.

through the fire and the flames is unironically good. i don’t know any of their other songs.

they’re fun and i like them a lot!!

i feel like the medium is capable of accomplishing really interesting methods of storytelling and it’s something i want to see more of. i want more people to explore the kinds of tales you can only really tell with a medium like video games! 

there’s more than enough space in what “video games” is to explore that sort of thing, alongside other sorts of games… or at least i feel like there SHOULD be more than enough space for that. a lot of people that play games seem really vehemently against it for some reason and i do not understand why?

a lot of devs seem open to it, though, which i appreciate. i don’t know if there’s just more people out there interested in making more experimental games nowadays or if it’s just easier for more people to be able to make them / put them out there but either way it makes me excited. video games make me excited!!

also i don’t get the appeal of sports games unless it’s like a really arcade-y sort of thing or there’s some mechanic added that adds something that would be fundamentally impossible to pull off in the sport IRL

it may surprise you to learn that i have several unpopular opinions about yoshi but here goes:

• Yoshi’s Story is good and i was surprised to learn a lot of people didn’t like it
  
• i haven’t played the game itself so i can’t comment on the gameplay or anything but the soundtrack for Yoshi’s New Island is fine. it’s alright. i don’t like it as much as original Yoshi’s Island music, sure, but i feel like it works for what it tries to accomplish? it’s weird and fun and it sounds like a circus exploded and i appreciate it
• the best sequel to Yoshi’s Island is Kirby’s Epic Yarn (or maybe Yoshi’s Woolly World given that it’s the sequel to Kirby’s Epic Yarn, but i haven’t had the chance to play that yet)
• they should make another yoshi’s cookie

elephant seals are SO violence and SO good. they’re NOT ugly. they have cute nose and cute flop and cute belch-and-fart kind of noises. and they’re jam packed full of chaos energy.

harp seals are cute and fine but i think bearded seals are infinitely more interesting. harp seals are like the dogs of the sea, and bearded seals are the Wizard Dogs of the sea

i dont really care about emoji. i prefer to use my words and i think the little faces like :) and :O are cuter.

🔜 🦉  these are the only emoji i care about. they are the pinnacle of emoji. i think all the other emoji could be removed and i would be fine with that as long as i could still utilize the Soon Arrow and funny bird

i absolutely 100% do not care who their parents are. i 100% do not give a damn or a hell about Koopa Fuck. i just appreciate that they’re all so-funny little men-and-Wendy.

i do not think i have any unpopular opinions about frogs. i trust them. if frogs could speak english i would do whatever they asked me to do, except for when i wouldn’t do it.

most store-bought tomatoes taste and feel like fat soggy garbage. the GOOD tomatoes are the ones you grow yourself, or the ones you get from the Farmerce Market. 

nearly everyone i have met who said they hated tomatoes have only ever had the icky store-bought ones. i hope some day they can experience The Good Stuff but wouldn’t blame them for swearing ‘em off forever
