hi im trying to teach myself how to program but its a wild world out there, do you have any advice? syntax isnt hard for me, but im having trouble understanding how to apply it

im taking a college course on computer science & that entails a lot of programming among other things, it’s an interesting program to me and i like it a lot but i dont think “Just Go To College” is a very universal option that everyone has access to, unfortunately (college is much cheaper in quebec than it is in the states, for instance). so i dont know if this is terribly helpful for you
there are a lot of online tutorials and workshops and sort of guided learning resources for coding & Fitting Things Together but i’ve never used any of them so i wouldn’t know what direction to point you in for this

Honestly the A Ram Sam Sam thing was funnier to me without any context because I was picturing one of those wobbly bird things walking to the center of like a darkened stage and saying it in just.
