full price is 40-ish bucks and i definitely think that’s a fair price, there is a TON of content and a lot of depth for what there is, but:

1) the g-rank version is going to be coming out soon in japan & will likely get announced for other regions soon after that; if you’re willing to wait you can save yourself the money and just pick up that one

2) the game also seems to go on sale fairly often at online retailers and in the eshop, i think right now it might be 33% off in some regions? so if you Absolutely Must Have It Now then looking into that might be worth it

basically - if you can wait, maybe wait for MHXX localization announcement. if you CAN’T wait, go for it, but look for some discounts on it if you can (especially if you think you’ll be wanting the g-rank expansion, which’ll be full price)

balgruuf, no contest. balgruuf is a nice boy, he does a good job, he likes to talk to his people to understand what their troubles and needs are. i trust him.

i didn’t? i just edited the original post. which i did for 3 reasons

1. i got tired of the flood of “OMG WTF WHAT DOES THIS MEAN WHAT IS THIS” questions and comments so i thought i’d modify the source to give some explanation / some context. at this point it’s like a year old or something? so there’s no way people are going to find it by trawling through my blog, they’re gonna find it through someone else’s reblog of it. at that point they already know what the post originally said, might as well answer their Frequently Asked Question’s if they got ‘em
   
2. when i have a post that gets very popular i eventually get REALLY tired of having that post’s contents swarming my dashboard and my notifications. i like to edit what they say every now and then, so that instead of being reminded of the thing i wrote that i’m tired of, i get notifications that say things like “Ham Fuck” or “Buck Bumble Now Canon In The Star Wars Universe” and i get a good laugh for a while. also sometimes i forget that i do this and i suddenly get a face full of “top post of the day: Oh Funck” and have a chuckle trying to remember what post that used to be
