in terms of appearance? a whole bunch! my favourites in 4U were the g-rank Garuga and all the Nerscylla ones (seltas and basarios were pretty good too). in generations there’s a whole bunch of them that i love… hellblade, astalos, dreadqueen, both uragaans, the strange set, the ancient set, damascus, the metal rath armours (though i guess those were in 4U as well?), deadeye garuga… 

lots of good looking armour in mhgen!! disappointed that a lot of the deviant ones end up being fuckin chainmail bikinis on women though :( monun is uuuuusually pretty good at avoiding that (with some big notable exceptions, and some smaller & more frequent things that irk me like boob-plates and exposed thighs) so it’s really disappointing that they went more in that direction with generations

in terms of skills? in 4U the garuga sets were perfect for my hunting horn-loving ass, earplugs is real good and handy (especially when you’ve got a horn that gives wind resistance & attack up), & razor sharp and affinity up are handu general skills. in gen i’ve basically just been bouncing around different sets for the sake of Fashion but i’m big on dreadking rathalos & the silver rath mixed set everyone else loves
