one of my favourite thing to do with any of my OCs is to think up incidental stuff about them that has little to do with their “stories”, like hobbies and dreams and the like. it;s fun!
hunting horn is the first weapon in the game that i really “got”, after having struggled with basically all of them for a while, haha. it’s a neat weapon but it does take a while to wrap your head around everything at first? plus it’s still definitely a little wonky, and its damage is a bit on the lower end of the spectrum unfortunately
i’ve mostly been using guild style, because it’s what i’m familiar with the most, but i’ve been playing around with all the styles for each weapon just to try everything out! i think aerial style is neat but it can get a bit spammy for some weapons
the things i’m most excited for in double cross? aside from g-rank? hmm… the new prowler type they revealed looks really cool, and will hopefully shake up the “Only Ever Use Boomerang Cats” prowler metagame a bit! the changes they made to prowlers in general look real neat too, i like support cats getting to toss 3 boomerangs & bomb cats getting adept dodges that explode is also good as hell. brave style also looks really fun! it looks hard, though!! i wanna try it out
ALSO THEY MOVED HUNTING HORN BUFF NOTIFICATIONS TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE SCREEN INSTEAD OF THE MIDDLE OF YOUR VISION AND THAT OWNS, I CAN SEE AGAIN

i’m playing generations!! i’ve played a bunch of 4U in the past but i think i like generations better (though i DO miss g-rank)
haven’t put much thought into monhun OCs but i like to think my hunter likes to write a lot. also i think she’s a decent cook in her spare time? she prefers the hunting horn because that’s the weapon i use the most & she’s like a big cat mama and loves her hundreds of palicos all so dearly
