there’s a bunch of text i’ve written under this line but the jist of it is generations is gonna be out in 5 days, so i’d suggest waiting for that

idk how much you know about monster hunter but the big things 4U has going for it that MHGen doesn’t have is like… subspecies monsters and 3 difficulty tiers (low rank, high rank, g rank) as opposed to Gen just having the first 2

so like you’d have to rush through the game basically as fast as possible at this point to get to the stuff that generations wouldn’t have

and even without g-rank it looks like generations has a TON more content anyways, it’s got a huge variety of monsters this time around because very few of the monsters are “it’s a pre-existing monster you’ve fought a bunch but we painted it Hot Pink and now it can spin”, it’s got a massive weapon variety, the hunter arts system & the different fighting styles look really fun to play around with, You Can Play As A Cat This Time,

plus i imagine a ton of the community’s gonna hop off 4U to play the fancy new game instead? so online might be a little bit dead for a while after MHGen’s launch

i mean at the end of the day 4U’s a really solid game, one of my favourite 3DS games of all time, and if you can comfortably and reasonably spend the money on both games then you can go ahead and do that

but personally i’d recommend just waiting for generations! if after you get through that game you find yourself itching for More and Harder monhun then 4U’s still going to be around, and i imagine by that point a number of people will have hopped back to that game online

in the meantime you can download and play the demo for generations, if you haven’t already done that

i imagine earth is the only planet that contains any concept of bisexuality

as far as i know nothing is alive on any of the other planets, or at the very least nothing is alive and sentient / self-aware / “developed” enough to have really any concept of sexuality

alternatively i’m gonna go with jupiter. got a good feeling about jupiter today
