the top got a liiiittle burned due to unfamiliar oven & Unforseen Consequences but mmy god. a tasty tasty sorts of pie.
crust was super flaky and delicious, apple innards were sweet and soft with a little firmness… this time we used a mix of white and brown sugar inside instead of just white and hhhoooooo good golly miss Holly was that ever a good idea

thoughts on what little bits of the Zelda DLC I’ve managed to try out so far
1) Master Mode has been really interesting so far (only just got off the plateau), definitely much more challenging than the base game; have had to radically rethink how I play the game in these early parts due to weapons being the same but enemy HP bein real big. actually have to consider avoiding fights sometimes now? which is something I hardly EVER felt in normal mode. at the very least now that I know I don’t have to be stingy with my “good” items I’ve been more liberal with my elemental arrow and potion usage… probably the Correct thing to do, or at least a very good thing to do
2) the “floating platforms that sometimes have Prizes on them” seemed like it would be a throwaway gimmick or a novelty feature at first but they honestly seem like SUCH a game changer??? the things you get from their chests seem to always be REALLY good, so managing to find them helps you Power Up & take on the tougher enemies. it’s a really interesting dynamic! plus also i love how they’re suspended by big ol octoroks bound by crude ropes lmao
3) the “WHY IS THERE A LYNEL OVER THERE” counter has so far reached One. i expect this number to rise over time and i am so scared
